Poppy Has A Lump

yeah that was injection they give baytril injection not the metacam i had some left off before only give her 2 days of antibiotics and the injection i have got a feeling i will have to go back with her
 
Two days of Baytil is not going to cut it If your looking at a bladder infection. This is a too shorter course and baytril isn't the most appropriate antibiotic to use in bladder infections though it can be used. She ideally also needs some metacam as an anti inflammatory and pain killer to help her feel better.

she making all this different noise eating well and drinking keep having to wash her tummy whats the best stuff to wash her in she's yellow fur now will let you know when she had her last infection vet give us more baytil got a feeling i will have to go back
 
will let u know bit more than a table spoon he give i have to give her 0.3 a day twice

You could wash her tummy in warm water or a gentle baby shampoo. Even a baby wipe would help.

don't think so urine was strong smell keep having to wash her everyday
 
hi there been talking to vet her lump is bit bigger do you think i should rick getting it removed

Has the vet suggested getting the lump removed? has a biopsy been done?
 
did not take a biopsy yeah he asked me what i wanted to do with it so i phoned for a price not bad £90 plus meds any can sort map post out on here
 
Your threads have been merged to try to keep everything in one place so we can know the history of what has been going on with Poppy. So she has 2 issues, the lump and the UTI?

Does the vet think you should do the Biopsy or go straight ahead and remove the lump? I am just wondering if it all may be related. For example, a pig with ovarian cysts can leak urine like Poppy has, Your lump doesn't look like an ovarian cyst though, more a mammary lump. You said the urine smelt strong didn't you?
 
yeah its dark my the colour on her fur it has grown bit since the photo across ways its right next to her teat growing toward her leg might stop her was if it grows any bigger try and get you a up date on the picture
 
think he is going to just remove as it grown bit in 4 weeks
 
I would speak to your vet, it seems she is leaking urine, or sitting in her urine for some reason which would imply she is not moving about.
 
i think there is only one day left of her bayrl left see how she goes over weekend my mam does not think its a urine infection either will phone up monday if she's the same i go way on the 7 th nov they go to richmond bunny borrows
 
still had to wash er later on the night so not cleared yet i think there is enough bayril left for today that will be the 7 th day wonder if need more meds do you think if she was still wet last night
