Junior Guinea Pig
My little 6 year old baby has had IC for a few years now, every now and again there may be a pale pink wee but it goes after a day.
When giving the girls their breakfast this morning I noticed red stains in one of their beds, they came out for their floor time and I monitored both piggies to see who it was coming from and it was coming from my IC piggie.
Her urine itself is clear but after she wees she drags her bottom on the floor (always has done) and then leaves little red marks (like the one in the photo).
I have increased her cystease today and have also started her back on metacam twice a day (I had manage to slowly wean her off of it).
What are people's gut thoughts?
If it was my other pig she would be at the vets in a heart beat, but my IC piggie gets stressed so easily I'd preferably like to avoid going to the vets if it is just an IC flare.
Just a bit of an odd one for me as its quite a bit brighter than the pale pink wees I usually see during a flare.
