2 days ago I noticed a little scab behind Sherbets ear, checked on it again today and it feels raised. I wonder if it could have been caused by her friend Rio getting a bit too enthusiastic with power grooming or something. Tensions have been high between the two of them since their piggy friend Sookie passed away 2 days ago.
Going to get Sherbet to the vets tomorrow which is really the last place I want to be so soon after loosing Sookie.
Any ideas on what it could be other than an abscess? From my experience it does look and feel like one but I'm really hoping Rio was not the cause of it.

Well it turns out it was a sebaceous cyst. The vet hasn't given it a good clean out but told me to keep cleaning it out with salt water every other day. Does any one have any info or tips on how to keep this cyst getting any bigger? With its location the vet said if it did grow big enough to need surgery it would be very difficult and could cause damage to her ear.
On the plus side it wasn't caused by Rio so I can stop panicking a little about the issues in dominance between the two of them.
