Hello my gf bought a piggy from a petshop and when he poops he sometimes (like 2/10 times) squeaks while pooping. Today we noticed his pee was brownish. He weights 340 grams so I would guess he is one month old. Can so young piggy have stones or other bladder problems?

Please have your little piggy checked for urine infection (UTI). It is not uncommon at this time of the year.
A vet check on a new guinea pig is recommended anyway. Some UK vet clinics won't charge for an initial check-up, but you have to enquire.

Is your little boy a single guinea pig and is it an indoors or outdoors piggy?

They are indoors, we have one more boy (370 grams) but he was bought elsewhere so we will keep them away from each other for some time.

Please see a vet for the wetness. It is very likely that he needs an antibiotic.

Here are our recommendations for a quarantine. Urinary tract infections are transmitted via scent gland wiping on the floor, so he shouldn't share a cage, but once both boars have been either vet cleared or have passed quarantine and are both healthy, they can live next to each other with interaction through the bars until you have sorted the wetness and can then introduce the boys.
If the wet bum has cropped up within 2-3 weeks of the sale, you can re-claim any vet cost from the shop, as infection/exposure has likely happened at the shop.

Importance Of Quarantine

Please make sure that you carefully read our bonding guides at the top of our behaviour and bonding section before you stage any introductions.

Pee from today. Was watching him today for two hours outside his cage, he talks to himself quietly all the time even when he pees/poop.

That is a calcium pee and the normal way of the body to excrete excessive calcium.

If you have them on a daily basis, then you might want to consider switching to a less calcium rich diet to prevent contributing to the build-up of bladder stones, but a one-off or every occasioanlly calcium pee is nothing to worry about. it dries to a powdery white patch.

Thanks for the answers, we were using pellets made by local farmer but He adds minerals to them (we didn't know that). So we cut them out and have to figure out where to get the right food. We didn't know the pee changes colour when exposed to air so we got bit scared.

Burgess Excel pellets are great, I mainly use them. The options are mint or blackcurrant and oregano I think, which is a bit more sugary. How often do you feed veggies and fruit and what types?
