Pray For Biggles ~An Abused Guinea Pig~

Hello, well I recently found out about a girl who was given a Piggy as a gift. I thought that girl was nice, until i found out that she:
1. Keeps Biggles in an Aquarium
2: Feeds him ONCE a week (or when she "remembers" )
3. Doesn't hold him
4. Puts his pigloo against glass so he will run into the glass
5. NO VITAMIN C

Please pray that Biggles will be ok. She only used him for a quick photoop on facebook. I am trying to get it from her and have even offered her money but she isn't sure she wants to give him up. I have already found the perfect home for him if she decides to give poor Biggles up. Wish me luck!

Please phone the RSPCA, poor Biggles. 8...

Luckily the problem isn't finding a home. I've found a VERY LOVING family with a huge home who would LOVE to take one in. I already told them they would need two guinea pigs. The problem is getting the girl to give up the Guinea Pig. I plan to take it in to my home for a while to see if it is sick and make sure it stops biting (it was starving so of course it bites:( )
 
Best of luck you can that poor piggy out of that hell hole!

There should be a particalur corner in hell for parents who won't take responsibility for their childrens' petcare. :)>>>

I know mine do whenever i open the fridge door :)

I hope you are able to rescue Biggles soon and give him to a loving family who will take care of him properly

If she refuses to hand him over get the RSPCA involved , its nothing short of animal cruelty.
 
I am in the process I think I might be able to save him. Sadly i don't live in the UK to be able to call the RSPCA. It is honestly the parents faulty for giving it to her.

What country do you live in ? get the animal welfare gorup involved , local council anytghing you can do to get it out of there !
 
Oh my god I cannot believe this! This is such cruelty. Her stupid thick parents should never have allowed her to have a guinea pig and to feed him once a week is sick. Cant you go to her house and demand she gives him to you? Is there nothing that can be done. :(

How are you getting on, is the guinea pig still living in this awful situation?

Whereabouts are you? Most countries do have the equivalent of the RSPCA, I am sure you will able to find the contact details for them or your local authority may be able to advise you who to contact.

She obviously has no clue proper animal care and husbandry and her parents have an awful lot to answer for in allowing this poor animal to be kept in these conditions.

I hope he gets removed ASAP into a loving home who can give him the love and care he needs as well as a friend to keep him company

Or failing that maybe see if you can get her to see sense that it would be better to hand the poor thing over to you?

I really really hope something can be done asap :...
 
How can you forget to care for such adorable things? Mine is so cute that I am ALWAYS taking making sure she has everything she needs and I'm constantly shopping for little toys for her. What a horrible environment to have to live in. D: Praying for him! <33

EDIT: America has the ASPCA I believe.
 
Good, this needs to stop! I almost started crying thinking of that poor hungry piggy!

Please, if I were you, don't care about the girl, just get the pig out! Definitely contact the authorities ASAP. There are bound to be some where you live- where do you live?

I know you're from the US, we have an ASPCA and I'm sure they would help you out. Get on google and search for animal welfare groups or something like that in your area. That pig is being neglected and doesn't have the right living conditions and I'm sure someone would help you.
 
This poor guinea is at serious risk, they have too keep their guts moving otherwise they begin to shut down, please please get the aspca involved.
 
This is awful :'( Piggies eat constantly, not once a week! How dumb can some people be...how old is this girl exactly?

I really hope Biggles gets out of this awful situation asap8...

The ammonia from urine could cause a problem here being kept in a tank pow-pow I'd lock this person in a a mens public toilet after a football match and see how she likes it :)>>>
 
Biggles needs to be saved now........ is there not some way you can get your ASPCA like SweetsPig said to intervene? this is way over the top cruelty 8...8...8...8...
 
This made me tear up - don't you have animal protective services over there?

I would call someone, or tell her parents, or tell her what she's doing is wrong and explain how she'd be doing the right thing by giving baby a better home.

what a horrible child.
