Oh Pringle,
Where do we begin, you came into my life just over 5 years ago with your fluffy pal Pepper, you were the most chill pig tolerating your crazy floofy brothers Pepper and Panko!
Pringle hated to be picked up he would always scream as if I was going to eat him, but he did love a cuddle under a blanket on the sofa!
The boy loved his food, he didn’t strip growing until he was around 3 years old tipping the scales at 1.38kg at his biggest he didn’t stop eating and especially loved pea flakes!
Sadly Pringle developed some dental issues at the end of 2024 and had a dental to trim his over grown back teeth, after a few weeks the front teeth started to grow funny again and when he went in for a trim he lost a bottom front tooth, Pringle was coping really well with his 3 teeth going for a little trim every 6 weeks, but after a routine trim a month ago we discovered some puss and an infection, after several weeks of antibiotics I thought he was much better but that was not the case and after struggling with a strawberry top yesterday morning there was a lot of puss coming out of where his tooth should be. At 5.5 the decision had already been made that we would not be putting him through anymore invasive procedures or tests as it wasn’t fair on him, so the descion was made to let him go, he was with me and Panko and the kindest vet.
I miss him so so much and I’m devastated to have lost him, even though I knew it was going to happen and the past few months have been a bonus it doesn’t make it any easier.
