Hi, just joined last night and have put on a picture of Clara one of our guinea pigs as a profile picture, but in the thread I have written it does not show her picture by our log on name. Any ideas why please?

Hi and welcome :) if you go to userCP and look down the side there's an option to change your avatar, this is the pic that shows up in posts :) hope that helps x

Thank-you. Changed picture now as trying to find out if anyone knows what she is and her boyfried Patch who is on the left. I am sure he is an Agouti but not sure which colour? Tried to upload images but it did not work, so have edited my profile picture.
We have had her for 3 weeks and she is still quite fidgety, but coming round, previous pigs were very laid back so am sure we will get there! Patch is so handsome too, and we have had him about 6 weeks, and now he is very laid back. He was neutered 3 weeks ago, but has formed an abcess and is on antibiotics. May have to have it cleaned out surgically next week.

Are they living together already only 3 weeks after the op?

Aw cute! Some do prefer to leave them apart for a bit longer than 3 weeks but i have heard of some going together after 2weeks too. Have you tried uploading pics onto photobucket and pasting the direct link into the post? There re many members good with breed so i'm sure we'd be able to find out what they are for you x

No they are still in seperate cages, but have supervised runs together a few times a day to get to know each other well. They adore each other (I think!).
The vet said to wait 4 weeks. So, another week that makes it, but am looking for a larger cage so they have more room than the 3 foot ones we have.

Aw sounds good! Have a look in the housing section there's loads of great cages. I like C&C cages in particular because you can make them any size/shape you want and also add levels :) xx
