Hi... the change in cage for my piggies has brought up plenty of new questions for me as well!

I'm washing fleeces and towels regularly but with the hay and fur etc on them I'm worried about both my washing machine and our clothes!

I've seen people mention about certain bags you can buy to protect it but can't find the posts now! What are they and where can I buy them?

Thanks :)

i've been looking for this thread all day! couldn't for the life of me find it  anyway, i have one of those orange horsewear bags that we have used only once or twice. to be honest, i find it easier to wipe the machine out and empty the filter once a week. if you want the bag i can send it to you? it's been washed since and is clean. let me know anyway. :)

Please do not do that! Hay can get right into the pipes too. My machines pipes had to be disconnected and cleaned.

:)) that happened not long after we first got this machine. turned out it was faulty anyway though because the filter never opened anyway. since the man fixed it it's been fine for ages. mind you, we got insurance for it because of the hay, and it's been perfectly fine since which is typical :))

i brush down the blankets first and it seems fine :)

As long as you don't mind!

Thanks so much for the offer... I wish I'd seen it before I had bought one myself!

I appreciate the thought :)
