Protective Huspig?

For the last couple of days I sit by the run and watch my babies playing, chasing each other, eating etc and sometimes Lacey comes over to the side and lets me stroke her chin, when Mr Darcy see's this is comes straight over and starts purring at me very loudly , can this be a warning sound too or is he just making sure his 'girl' is ok?

He's probably reminding his girl who's the husboar to come for cuddles! Mr Darcy doesn't seem like to share the attention with an upstart slave...
