What is the appropriate protein content for guineapigs?
When I try to find the appropriate percentage of the guaranteed analysis should be for a pig, it says 18-20% protein. But most foods are well under that. Ive been sticking with Oxbow Essentials since its 14% and seems to be one of the best, but I'm unsure of what the protein and fat should really be for guineapigs. I'm slightly paranoid because ive been finding out that the oxbow hamster recipies are not high enough in fats and proteins but I dont know much for the guineapig ones.
