After I took my boys back to their cage after for time and cleaned up. I noticed one of the puppy pads looked a bit orange. ?.?
I asked mum what she though, she said it looked orange.
They were weeing and pooping no problems.
can't see any blood anywhere.
as I'm doing a 13 hour shift tomorrow. I've asked my mum to check on them for me.
But I'm a tad worried :(
The puppy pads haven't been orange before.

Have you been giving them red/orange food? Or maybe it's lack of water. Mine had a slightly red-coloured poop the other day because I gave them heaps of capsicum (pepper) and tomato for dinner (it's gone now).

Orange, rust colour wee can be completely normal - it occurs when the piggy's wee reacts with the oxygen. Their wee is normal colour initially, but it will turn orange after a few minutes.

Urine can also be discoloured if you have fed red peppers, or other strong-coloured veggies.

Red/pink wee, or any signs of blood, however, is not normal and should always be checked by a vet.

Thanks for all your replies. Mum checked on them they are fine. Can't see anything of concern in their house.
will keep an eye out just incase
I will stop giving them red veggies see if anything happens.
If something isn't right off to the vet they go

I recently rescued a 6 year old female pig that's cage mate had died and she was then given over to rescue as unwanted. She also had orange coloured urine so I took her for an MOT (I always take new pigs for a full health check with my exotic vet) and he said the same as Jerrybelly but it can also be caused by stress. Since she'd just lost her cage mate and moved to a new home it was clearly a stressful time for her and she's now much happier as she's bonded with my other piggies and her urine is back to normal. Hope your boys are ok :)
