I saw on a thread yesterday that you can get puppy pads from pound land so am off to get some tomorrow.

At the mo my pigs are in the shed in their hutch and I have lined their hidey side with towels and a blanket so they keep warm at night. I'm always changing the towels and blankets but my washing machine is under a great deal of strain and needs an engineer! Eeeek.

If I lined the floor with puppy pads over the towels would these be absorbant enough? I do have lino on the hutch floor so thats protected; I just don't want my piggys to get wee wee damp! :))

I love puppy pads. I get 100 for about £16; a friend of mine has membership at Batleys. When I clean the girls out I use puppy pads, then newspaper and then megazorb. I also use the pads for cuddle time to avoid unnecessary christening!
