My two guinea pigs had a fight after I introduced two more into the heard, they are now separated in two different cages, but whilst cutting Gerald’s hair today I noticed what looks like a puss filled spot. I’m presuming it came from his bite/scratch wounds, should I be concerned? I’m not too sure on the procedure of what to do so any help would be great! He is happy as normal, eating/drinking/playing/squeaking when I open the fridge/etc!

Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forum.
I would get a vet to check that out and prescribe the appropriate treatment.
Unfortunately you cannot keep more than two boars together as they fight. please ensure that they are kept in separate pairs permanently and don’t come into contact with each other again as unfortunately, more fights will happen.

They have always lived happily together, until I introduced the first baby! Now I keep them separate in their own cages with one of the 2 babies I brought😇 They are perfectly happy now, all 4 boars!😌 thanks for the reply
