My peter was neutered 5 days ago, sincethen he has been in a pet carrier in the house on fleece bedding. He has been fine up until now but, he is getting very bored and more and more lively.

Is it ok for him to go back in his cage in the garage now? The vet said to be kept inside for the first few days. And will he be ok to go back onto shavings and hay? or am i to keep him on fleece? although he isnt a fan of fleece. and what about hay?

Wound nice and dry looks to be healing well and he is fine in himself eating and drinking plenty.

a pet carrier is too small to keep him in - can you bring the cage indoors for a few days and put him in that? Fleece should be fine, I dont know but maybe the wood shavings might get stuck in his bits. sorry i am not much help! Mine live indoors see, so Louise went straight back on his vet bed back in his cage straight after the op.
