Folks, I'm building up to introducing 3 pairs of girls together to hopefully end up with a herd of 6. So my question is do I introduce them all at the same time, or one by one, or one from a pair with another pair? This is the first time I've done this so just want to try and get it right. It wouldn't be the end of the world if they didn't get along, but I'd like it if it was because they didn't like each other rather than because I did something wrong.

Thanks in advance :)

I would suggest introducing them all together gradually in a nuetral area, in a run in the garden for example, do that over a period of a few days then try housing them all together if all seems well. Though i am no expert, hopefully someone else be be able to advise you better than me.

Just wanted to say i hope it works out, i would love a big herd of piggies!

Thank you. I do intend to do this all on neutral ground, was going to block off all areas where they could get stuck and let them have the floor in the spare room. Thanks again

Are their cages next to each other? or are they separated? If not I would say put all of the cages next to each other so they can meet through the bars...or even put them out in runs in the garden or floor next to each other and then gradually start putting them together in a neutral area. Start maybe having them out for floor time together for a bit. Again I am no expert but this is how it has worked for me in the past. Keep a towel at the ready too in case a fight breaks out.
