I need to bath them tonight and put them in the pen to dry, however last time I did this, my pooch wasn't living with me.

Even if I put them in his face, he wouldn't do a thing because he is the softest thing ever, but I am thinking from their perspective if he was to walk past/up to the pen, could the fright from seeing him kill them? :0

I doubt it, all my pigs have been fine when first being introduced to my dog.

You could grab a pig and take them to the dog so the pigs can see your dog, just an idea.

I will try it, thing is with my dog, he has a flat face and makes so much noise trying to breathe, I think his noise will scare them more! :(|)

They really need a bath though! :Ayociexp113:

Well I can't say with any certainty that they won't get a fright, but whether your piggies will die from your cute little dog walking around and sniffing them a bit through the pen, I don't believe so. :) Your dog looks so sweet and placid, I think they're more likely to be curious about each other. As long as they have somewhere to hide from him they should be fine and maybe hold them for the first introduction or sit close by to make sure he knows you're there keeping an eye on things. My sister had guinea pigs when we were little, we always had a big dog and it was never a problem for them to see him walking past once in while!

When my dog comes in my room, all my pigs run over to him and wheek at him. Thinking he is going to feed them :)).

awww, I know exactly the noise as well, those dear little pugs! They might just think he is a big guinea with a bad UTI.:)) You can only try it, if they seem very worried then pop him in a different room for a bit.

HAHA, sounds like my dog - he will defo steal their veg! In fact, he won't even see them, he would even steal their hay and muesli given half a chance! :(|)

I am going to introduce tomorrow as my hay loft will be here tomorrow and I need them out of the cage! :o

They might not like him but he is unlikely to scare them to death. :))

You never know they may be braver than you think they are...

It is funny every morning, I go in to feed them and he follows me in with 'the noises' and I worry myself stupid that they think they are going to be eaten. Victor got on lovely with my little Wiccan (god rest her soul), as below. :)
