Bill & Ted

As some of you will know Bill had an operation to remove 2 small mammary tumours on 11 November after a routine visit to Simon to have his incisor filed. He sailed through the operation and you wouldn’t have known he been through an op apart from his shaved belly and nether regions and a little sewn up tummy.
Bill lost 60 gms weight on the day but has carried on eating well and is now back up to his normal of around 1260 gms, well done my brave little hero x
Ted was my main worry as he was not eating properly and loosing weight at least a week before we could get a double Appointment for the boys. Simon filed his dodgy molar spur down and noticed he had a large ulcer where the sharp spur had dug into his cheek and made eating very painful for him. I thought we were going to loose him the following morning after the long 400 mile journey back and the stressful day before, waiting for his mate Bill to come round from his operation at the vets. He was very cold and had not really eaten the pervious day, apart from the two stops for critical care on the journey home.
After a lot of coaxing, treats and lots of cuddles he’s finally back to his old happy go lucky self. He’s suddenly piling on the weight and from 1189 gms is now up to 1255 gms and is eating his hay again (along with carrots, parsnips and black kale) He has another 100 gms to get back to his original weight but he is happy, cocky and full of himself again. Ted is back!
