qustion about body spray

My friend has 2 guiena pigs. She is new to owning them.
She is watching her sister in laws little boy (terrior )
He had decided to go up stairs and poor body spray all over the guiena pig. her bedding, Hay and chew log.
She called me in a panic wondering if it was gonna hurt her piggie.
I told her I am not sure. But to take out all the bedding hay and chew log.
And to give "charlie" a bath. She didn't know how to wash a guiena pig. So I went over and showed her. It was "charlie's" first time ever getting a bath. and she LOVED it. She just stood there and weeked happily. ( My piggie doesn't do that she HATES baths) I also trimmed her nails. They were really long and starting to curl. Poor baby. She didn't know how to trim the nails either. So now charlie feels like a million bucks!

But my question is will body spray hurt them?

Best washed out as you wouldn't want it swallowed, but the sad truth is that the chemicals in it were probably tested on guinea pigs or rabbits.

my friend and i are really good about making sure anything we buy is not tested on animals. But we did wash her and cleanned out her whole cage and got her a new chew log

as long as you washed her and the cage has been stripped and washed she should be ok,just watch her breathing as aerosols can cause breathing problems and as for the little boy get a belt and whack his behind so hard he cant sit down for a week (for legal purposes obviously i would never smack a child even one as evil as that one rolleyes!)
