New Born Pup
Sadly have to announce this, around three / four months ago, one of our guinea pigs got out of their cage. We're not sure how - we think he might've jumped over the cage or got on something and jumped [if that's possible?]. His name was John and he has a brother whose name is Arlo, [was Harvey]. And because they're outdoor piggies he ran somewhere.
Basically, my sister woke up in the middle of the night - or heard it in her dreams of something wheaking, but as soon as she woke up she no longer heard it, so she didn't bother to check on the piggies. The next morning, we went out to feed them and only one piggy was there, which was, Arlo.
We searched everywhere in the backyard, the garage they were in, the front yard and couldn't find him. My dad ended up finding him under the porch chair - and our cat got to it before we did.
Yes, we got another piggy immediately, his name is Harvey and he is almost one year old. [we switched their names around because Harvey suited him better]. On the good side, Harvey has made some good impacts on Arlo, as Arlo is less afraid of human interaction and is more confident on coming out than before.
Also, we have moved their cage into another shed that closes and is more comfortable for them, especially now it's becoming colder in Australia.
