I am almost 100% certain this is the cage I am going to get for my 2 future piggies, as it is a good size and price. It measures 150cmx75x64 cm and is £89.99p.

So if anyone as this cage I would love to hear what you think or it or even if you don't I would still love to hear your thoughts :)

P.s , I wouldn't be putting the wire shelf in as I know it is not good for their wee feet.

ive got two of these cages joined together that currently houses 5 girls - the way i joined the two cages was to remove the side panel from each cage and then join/butt the two wire platforms together - this makes one long center second tier with a ladder each side for access to both cages bases. I covered the wire shelf with vinyl flooring and cable tied carpet/vetbed to the wire ladders.

The cages themselves are great and are an adequate size for 3 pigs :) and at £89.99 you cant go far wrong - worth every penny :)

In my setup the second tier is used for their hay racks and hay trays - this keeps the hay away from the fleece in the levels below (well that was the plan, but since my girls find it fun to just rip the hay out of the hay racks it doesn't stay contained for very long)

When i had just the 4 pigs i did have a C&C cage setup, however i found it really troublesome to clean the back parts of the cage - however if you do have the space, a C&C is a cheaper option that will not only allow you expand should you need to but will give you loads more space than any commercial cage ;)

Yes I looked at this cage and would have got one but the space I had was just 10cm too short for it so I ended up with a Ferplast 140 instead. I would have preferred this cage so it was a bit annoying lol.

My guinea pig population went from 2 to 5 overnight due to an unexpected pregnancy so I have a C&C now lol but this is a great cage for a pair.

There's pics of the Trixie cage (basically the same!) on the commercial cages thread at the top of this forum which may be useful. x

The cage is no longer in stock but found a cage which is very similar :) .......

So talked to my mum and showed her the cage and she agreed to would be the perfect cage for my future piggies and me as the stand will come in real handy due to mobility issues I have and even better she said she would put money towards it :) . So have started putting aside £20 every two weeks to go towards buying the things I will need for the guinea pigs when I get them.

Hi,

I have this cage mine is four grids long internal measurement and just less than two grids wide internal measurement.

I got mine from eBay as well.

I bought mine as I never took to c and c because I like to be able to move it to clean round it and it came with a stand on wheels. I never used the upper floor level or the step the step is silly really.

I was 100 percent pleased with it and took to it straight away and it is great to keep clean.

I don't use the lid so it does have the look of a grid cage.

I have two girls in mine,

hope that helps.

S
