oh goodness, just went on a conveter thingy and it's only equivilant to 2X3. that's rubbish.

anyone know of any indoor cages big enough for five that aren't c&c? we get into a right mess with c&c as the bedding comes out everywhere!

are the sizes right? because from the photo it looks massive!

I have the ferplast 100 which looks massive but there's only room for a cocoon house, one chube and a food bowl (and 2 pigs). They definitely don't have enough room now they're growing and I'm changing to c & c. I did look at the 140 but I didn't think I'd gain enough space in the long run. The measurements are a bit misleading because the bottom slopes in and you lose a couple of centimetres all round.

If you can't have c & c because of the mess, are you handy enough to make something purpose built? I'm very envious of Cozmo's new cage- it uses perspex.

I have 3 very happily in a rabbit 150

It's 5 x 2 and a bit

I have an upstairs too. But it's pretty big without.

I have a rabbit 150 for two pigs - they've not moved in yet *** gubbins isn't firing blanks yet :)), but here's what it looks like (it cost me £97 from Jollye's).

did you get correx to cover the upstairs and stairs?

Yes. It comes with a mezzanine level made of the same wire as the outside of the cage. You could cover that with correx and use it but I found the ladder to be pretty unusable - even for rabbits. It was easier to just make my own 1st floor and ramp out of plywood and correx.

It is definitely big enough for 2 - it is enormous. I have 2 linked together for my 4 sows and they are very happy in it. HTH. Shame you are not local - you could have come and had a look!

it is about 4.5ft x 2ft. My 2 linked together work out at 9ft x 2ft

how did you link them?

I have some photos which I need to upload to show everybody ... as I keep promising rolleyes. OH carefully drilled a series of holes in the a circle ain the sides of both, pushed the inner circle out, gently filed the edges and connected the 2 using a piece of soil pipe. They love it and run through like little bullets. It is a big initial outlay (although I already had one of the cages) but works brilliantly :)

I looked into that one. They are really quite expensive and difficult to source. They are actually slightly smaller in floor space than the Rabbit 140, although I like the idea that it is square rather than long.

If you do go for the Rabbit 140, buy it online from P@H and go through Topcashback. It works out at about £90 this way, and delivery is free. I think you will be stunned at just how big it is.

Ok ... trying to remember how to insert photos LOL! Here is how we connected the two (and in a mo I shall post a new link with all my photos :))

The biggest cage i know of is the rabbit 150. Dont know what this is sq foot though...

I've been trying to get hold of two Rabbit 150 cages and have spent a few days trying to get hold of pet-points by phone and email - phone number buried deep on the website doesn't work and they don't appear to respond to emails. I tried googling to find another number but found poor reviews of the company instead. So although a good price, I'm trying to get hold of the cages from another company (at £82 more for the two, and that isn't including P&P :( ).

This is a better price than what I have found online, but they don't have an online shop - Was the cage ready made when you bought from here? I've used the store locator and I have one about 17miles from me (yay :)!) but I don't think I know anyone who could fit one in their cage, let alone two :( How long ago did you get the cage? How did you get it home? I really want two :0 My piggies deserve them! 8... If I could get them at £97 I'd save £58 so my bank balance would be a little happier with me!

I always wanted one of those square cages too but couldn't find them anywhere. I hate the fact that cages are always long and thin - a square cage seems to maximise space better, so they don't have a cage that is something like a corridor!

Gosh, typo a go go in that last post, can't edit it anymore, but the bit near the end was meant to say;

I've used the store locator and I have one about 17miles from me (yay :)!) but I don't think I know anyone who could fit one in their car (NOT cage as I said!), let alone two :(

I emailed pet points back in December about the Rabbit 150. I am still waiting...

I had my Rabbit 140 delivered to my husband's work and we got it home in a Ford Focus, with the back seats folded down

I did find the square cage online somewhere. Can't remember where it was now but I remember being stunned at the price .... thats to say how expensive it was

if you go through nectar estores, you get your nectar points on it! it has pet supermarket and pets at home on it

I was going to keep at it with pet points, until I saw the reviews. Some were glowing, but many weren't. Now I wouldn't risk my money with them even if they had the stock in. I called Dabners earlier as they were the next best price that I found, but they only had one in stock, and as I need two, I am keen that they are the same colour combo as the Rabbit 120 that I already have so I'm going to call back after their delivery of new stock. I was really hoping to be in luck as delivery this week would have been ideal as my bf is home to take delivery.

I know when we got the Rabbit 120 delivered, the box was huge! I don't think the 150 would fit in my C3 even with the seats down :( Going to give Jollyes a call tomorrow anyway though, because if I can figure out how to get them home and they have them in stock, then I'll probably be able to get the cages quicker than if I order from the internet.

Dabners are also hugely expensive. Our Jollys didn't have them in stock but said they could get them within the week. They are only £97 at Jollys which would be a saving of nearly £60 if you are buying 2!

Alternatively is it worth going for the Rabbit 140 from P@H? Internally it is only about 5cm shorter and they will deliver to your home for nothing. Mine arrived within 48 hours. The new one is a grey base and has a front opening door. They are £95 each
