Can Guinea pigs eat the rabbit sun salad? The ingredients seem to be fine but it has carob beans. Can they still eat it?

It would be easier if you could show us exactly what product you mean, a list of the ingredients and what the item actually is - it’s not something I’ve ever heard of in this country.

However the fact it has carob bean in it would probably make it a no, they should not eat it (I’m assuming it’s something intended for rabbits - who also should not eat carob bean).

This is what it looks like and the ingredients

Ok. So locust bean meal (which I believe is the same thing as carob bean) is in a lot of pellet feeds as a ground up product. So technically it should be is safe - although perhaps not necessarily something they need to have in their diet. If the whole pod in there then I would probably not feed it.
It contains a lot of items which should be kept very limited - parsley, apple, carrot for example - so do not feed very much.

Personally I avoid this kind of commercial mixed treat anyway and prefer to stick to fresh herbs for treats.
