I recently bought a second hand hutch for my guinea pigs. It was previously used by rabbits but I scraped out all the poo and disinfected it. I know that some rabbits carry patella which kills guinea pigs and I wandered if my guinea pigs could catch it by being in the hutch?

I don't think so as long as the hutch as had a very good clean ! With disinfect (detto) it such be ok. And if its wood use a bit of sand paper where the rabbits when to the toilet they.hope this helps , you could put a picture of the hutch on here
