Rainbows gone

I found my Rainbow laying on his side at lunchtime and he couldn"t get up.It was hideous to see him struggling.he looked so distressed.Took him to the vet and she said that there was nothing they could do.I wanted to be with him when thay put him to sleep.They gave him gas first to make him dopey and I held him as they injected him.I"m crying as I"m typing this,it was awful.I know nothing could be done but I feel that I let him down.I"ve got another 19 piggies and I can"t bear the thought of this happening again.I"m devestated.
 
I'm so very sorry to hear little Rainbow has gone to the bridge :'( :'( :'(
It's not easy seeing them struggle like that, i've been thru it too so i can sympathise with you :'( :'(

I am so sorry to hear about Rainbow :'(

Everytime I lose one of my pets I always feel I can't go through it again aswell. I'm sure he had a happy life with you & all the other piggies.

So sorry for your loss - you did what was best, of course you didn't let him down, you ended his suffering x RIP Rainbow :smitten:
 
So sorry 2 hear about your loss :( i had a similar experience last year with my cat :'( at least he isn't suffering any more xx
