Rapunzel was spayed 10 days ago and in the last few days I’ve noticed her incision has raised. It is not red and doesn’t seem to be tender to the touch. It is just kind of hard and in a line with her scar. Is this just scar tissue? I also just sent an email with pictures to my vet so he gets it first thing in the morning and can let me know what to do.2E625D30-D322-4C7C-8ADF-F0A273A2C268.webp5E003723-CD3C-419F-BF06-FEEED4658EBE.webp

So glad Rapunzel has made such a great recovery, it looks very clean, I remember Bill’s scar from a mammary tumour was quite thick at one point but then went flat x

The incision looks good. It's probably swelling around the internal stitches which can happen, but if you are worried perhaps give the vet a call or email them the picture? Sending healing vibes!

It looks neat. There is a bit of a fluid build up around the scar, which can happen and should go away on its own.
