Re-introduction

I've recently adopted a neutered boar (3 years old) to join my 3 bonded sows. One of the sows rejected him so I separated my C&C cage into 2 sections, one section has 2 sows and the other has the boar and another sow. It's been about 2 weeks and now the boar and the sow that rejected him communicate through the bars, sometimes they rumble at each other, other times their noses touch and they sleep next to each other with the barrier in the middle. Can I try re-introducing them? Thanks

I would try it seems as there is acceptance behaviour there, but put them on neutral ground to see how they get on. Just keep gloves near in case it flairs up again.

If it doesn't work you may be able to try again after a longer break, long breaks have worked with mine when there was initial rejection.

Yes I have, but I didn't know what the behaviour of my piggies meant as this is my first time introducing a boy piggy to my girls
