last time i was tellin you all about a book i bought and how it said they can have dog treats and moast of you thought it was a bad i dea and thanks i definatly wont be giving them those! They do look swede though i found out the other week also fudge really loves those honey sticks you can get. I had a girl pig a few years ago an she really liked digestive biscuits any1 have piggies with weird favorate foods?|)|)
I've nevr tried swede. Mainly because I can't chop it up and it's a bit whiffy. I like it though! hehe! As for treats I just buy fruit and veg maybe herbs as they go down well as treats. I've never given digestives or anything like that.
I don't like pigs to be overweight, I know it looks cute but my experiment is does feeding them too much shorten the life span? My eldest pair are 17 months so we are doing well touch wood.
Hay, veg, a bit of fruit and pellets/museli is fine for their diet.
I agree entirely with Lou, none of mine have ever been allowed to taste biscuits or cereals etc There's every chance they'd enjoy them but they're not a necessary or beneficial part of their diet.
Yip, I'm the same - its fruit and veg for treats - oh, and the odd parsley bell! One of my girls is 1300g so giving her anything else (as well as the fact that I don't agree with it) would probably make her absolutely huge.
