Ok so in a minute i'm going down Lidl and gettign the piggies lots of fruit and veg.
I'm goin gto prepare all there salads and food for the week , so when i go on holiday and my grandad comes and feeds them all he has to do is put it in there cage.
I was thinking shall i do a big bowl of salad - will it last a week?
Or do seven little bags of salad - Will they go bad?
What lasts long in the fridge?

When all chopped up, it doesn't tend to last as long.

We do the odd bowl of chopped up food that will last no more than 3 days, but don't add any 'wet' foods - cucumber, melon etc as they make everything go horrible even quicker

You're better of with whole veg with protective skin, like cucumber, apple and tomato. If you're using leaves then buy them with the big outer leaves already on, and keep them cool and in a dark place (box, maybe). If you want to know about a specific vegetable I've got my Rivernene (amazing veg, btw - recommend) book here somewhere so I can go check for you.

also if you do chop their food uip the vit c content lowers as soon as they veg has been cut..be better to buy a few bags of kale for the cabbage as that will keep in your fride and he just gives a handful, maybe get some baby carrots so no chopping involved, maybe some garden peas? those again u just give a few no chopping :)
