Random side note, Tessel is how Texel is pronounced in Dutch. Texel is an island off the coast of the Netherlands and it's where the breed name comes from.

Intresting I never knew that. We learn something new everyday.

Local libraries are a good starting point. Check to see if they have any of the recommended books in stock You can always buy them at a later date. I still borrow the odd guinea pig book even though I have bought the Peter Gurney proper care of guinea pigs.
