Red cabbage?

Hi!
So I have some red cabbage and I’m wondering if guinea pigs can eat some? When I tried searching on the internet, it’s quite a controversial food because a lot of sites say it’s fine and quite nutritious however other sites say not to give it because it can result in gas and other digestion issues. I’m wondering has anyone actually given any red cabbage to their guinea pig and did it cause any sort of problems?

Yes you can give cabbage in small amounts. It can cause bloat but if you give a small piece and not often then they should be fine. Always introduce any new veg slowly
