Have had guinea pigs for the past 10 years.

Bought this one from the local pet store wich came from a breeder about 5 hours away.

He is a male, about 6-8 weeks old, Eats all his pellet food and hay, drinks alot, poop and pee is normal. Very healthy says the vet.

When I first got him on friday I noticed a little piece of crust, 3 days later his left eye was really red/crusty and puffy. I took him to the vet and I got some antibiotic drops (Fucithalmic) every 8 hours. I have been putting the drops in for 2 days now and his eye is already getting alot better. The redness is going away and the eye is less swollen and the whiteness is coming back

Now the other eye (Right) is pretty red and I started putting the drops in that eye (its been about 1 day of drops). I assume from me petting him and cleaning his eye the other one got infected by myself touching them both without washing my hands.

I removed the pine shavings and replaced it with just news paper tell his eyes get better. Then I'm putting in some expensive cellulose stuff.

The thing that puzzles me is when I hold him the odd time I hear him sneeze.
There is no snot or discharge just like a light dust sneeze. (of course this no dust though.

Just wondering were should I go from here to getting him better?

Piggies occasionally sneeze just like we do. If it's only a few times then don't worry about it. I'd still take your piggie to the vet though as he already has sore/crusty eyes and if he's sneezing then he could have a urti and need more antibiotics.
