Can you please help. One of my piggies is making the regurgitation sound quite frequently (every half an hour or so) . Not sure which one it is so I’m on night watch. All appears well otherwise. They are bright and wanting food when I approach the cage. Will take the boys to the vets today if it persists Not sure whether I should feed them a bit of cucumber. Thought it may moisten the throat. I would appreciate any comments/advise. Many thanks

Have phoned emergency vet who’s advised to record the sound if possible. All quiet at the moment. Fingers crossed all will be ok.

Does it happen when they have been eating? Or is it completely random? If you have a greedy piggy they can often make a cough style noise when eating too quickly. My Daisy does it almost daily at evening veggie time

Thank you for your reply. Benny is a greedy piggie. I think he may have had a bit of hay caught. He seems fine this morning has eaten breakfast . It normally doesn’t concern me but it was the frequency that was a worry. I’m staying home today just to keep an eye on him. So far so good. 😊

Oh dear, hopefully it was just a bit of food stuck that has now been dislodged- our Ollie pig was doing this for about an hour last saturday, sort of retching every few minutes then he developed some alarming hiccups- but as soon as her heard me say the word "vet" he had a big drink of water and was ok again!

Rocky seems to appear frozen when on the vets table. He won't move at all and laid flat. 😂 Then he peed on the table getting himself all wet. 🙄🙈

All appears to have returned to normal. Many thanks
