I'm currently trying to reintroduce Zazu with the 8 week old baby as it looks like he could be here longer than I’d expected. So far there’s been a lot of chasing by zazu but no biting or any other signs of aggression. However, the baby will run away when Zazu chases him but just freezes when he stops. He’ll sit completely still until Zazu starts chasing him again. Is this normal and do you think they’ll tolerate each other until he goes to a new home? The baby is so lonely by himself so I really hope they can get along.

Hi. That sounds normal behaviour to me. Are you planning on separating them again in the near future? It might be kinder to have them living alongside each other than split them when they have formed a bond?

Sorry that the rehoming for the baby didn’t work out. I remember you saying that the person was coming to see him on That Monday?
I agree with @pig in the city though that if he has to go to a new home it would be best to just keep them side by side as they may bond then you’d feel sad splitting them up again. X
