Went to a memorial service this afternoon. Everyone was invited to write the name of someone they have lost this year on a star and then hang it on the tree.
One of those stars is for all of you who have lost piggies - or other pets - in the past year. X

That's very kind. I lost my boy Ted on Monday and I am really struggling, he was so special. I used to look forward to go see the piggies in the morning but now every time I look a the cage it fills me with dread. I feel so guilty because I still have my other pig Dougal but the bond between us is not a strong as it was with Ted
