As if it wasnt hard enough to loose Kanika last tuesday I lost Nina on Friday and Fred on Saturday. Both oldies, 5 and 7yrs old. They are next to kanika in my friends garden.

Nina was bought a few years ago for my golden satin breeding and she produced two healthy litters and I still have her sons LJ and Aurelio. She was a fantasic mam and a lovely friendly sow. Beginning of January she perferated her eye and I had taken her to the vets but no signs of it healing so it was removal or leave it, I decided to leave it due to her age. She was on medication and the eye healed but no sight.

Fred aka Winfred was a beautiful golden agouti bicolour pet bought from Pets at Home, I estimated she would have turned 7 in January. She was also a mother like Nina to a single litter and recently the daughter I kept Solar had passed over. Fred wasnt the most human friendly pig but she kept the sow group in check even being a lot older than them.

Rest In Peace my girls, safe journey. xx

Another two little stars twinkling in the sky

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of 2 beautiful ladies. I lost 2 piggies very close together years ago & the grief I am sure is more than twice as strong. But I cannot imagine how tough it must be having lost 3 within a few days. 8...8...8...

Hold onto your precious memories & also knowing that they are reunited over the bridge. They will be running & playing together in the green grass & being looked after by those who have gone before them. xx>>>xx>>>

Hugs & squeaks from my manly trio - Jerry, Legolas & Pippin

Emma, I am so sorry to hear of more losses. Nina and Fred were beauties. Take comfort that they are reunited with Kanika, and all your other past piggies too.

Rest well, dear Nina and sweet Fred. *Hugs* to you them. xx

Just wanted to add my condolences. Why do these things come in threes, so very sorry for your loss Emma. Sleep well girls, reuinited with your friend Kanika.

so sorry for your losses, i cant imagine how horrible it must be to loose both of them so close together. Run free little ones x

So sad to read about your piggies passing over the bridge. It is especially hard when you lose beloved ones within a short period of time.

Remember the good times and take care xx
