Results From The Baby Naming Raffle At Norman Gormans Sanctuary!

[Wiebke]

As the last couple of sows at the sanctuary have now passed their pregnancy watch without giving birth (they likely lost their litters due to the stress they were under in early pregnancy), the Tree Babies raffle has taken part today for the 15 surviving babies.
Two pups sadly died soon after birth, but the others are all thriving and the busy mums are looking forward to a life free of the pressures of more pregnancies.

Thank you to everyone who suggested names through the fundraiser organised by Wiebke's Tribe. We have chosen the following names for them suggested by entrants:
Gingko
Yew
Hazel
Wollemi
Magnolia
Acacia
Juniper
Monkey
Puzzle
Birch
Chesnut
Mulberry
Acer
Cherry
Elm

Thanks! It was my idea unless somebody else had it, too ...
