It's not a good picture, but it does give some idea of the size. It's in an ordinary-sized specimen pot.

and here is dear Riff's wound - which has now healed completely

It looks big becuse the incision was extended to remove a lipoma under the same GA.

Omg, that looks relly nasty! Great to here that he on the mend though x:)

That was big! Poor Riff, I bet he feels better not having that in there!

It was getting on for a cm in length, much like a baked bean in size and shape. It must have been agony for Riff.

OMG no wonder darling Riffit was in sooooooo much pain 8...8...8...
Bless him and he's healed up and now back to his boooooootiful bouncy self again xx>>>xx>>>xx>>>xx>>>
Isn't it cute how their hair grows back, all nice and soft and fluffy x

Riff's fur has come back more chocolate than black!

I keep the stone by my bed. I don't ever ever want to be in that position again. I should have insisted on an x-ray much sooner. I have been furious with myself.

Thanks! I think you are right: Riff was very healthy in every other way which must have helped with the recovery...

I am SO pleased to hear that Riff is on the mend and feeling much better! :) :)
