We got our guinea pigs 2 weeks ago and sadly they have ring worm. Hoping for clear advice for how to wash nervous 12 week old guinea pigs with ring worm who will not keep still. How do I avoid it going in their eyes while being thorough? How often should I treat them? They have it all over head to toe in patches. What measurements should I use for diluting? Many thanks!

Welcome to the forum and I am sorry to hear that

What treatment has your vet prescribed?
Oral medication is the best option where possible

You will also need to make sure you thoroughly disinfect the cage and every cage item using F10 vet grade disinfectant, wear gloves, wash your clothes thoroughly etc.
Ringworm spores can live in the environment for up to two years and cause reinfection so being thorough is important to bring this to a close as quickly as possible

I have added our ringworm guide below as it explains everything in detail.
