After noticing a crusty spot on Ginny's ear we spoke to a vet over the phone (sent pictures too).
We're going to the vets on Thursday to get some spray and to make sure she's fine. I was wondering about afterwards though; obviously I will be washing her sheets but do i have to wash everything? She has tunnels and stuff like that and should I wash the grids too? And what about her little cardboard house? I can't really wash that so should i chuck it? It has curtains and everything :'(
I just want her to be safe so is all of this necessary?

Sorry to say but yes you will have to dispose of anything that is made of cardboard or wooden. Anything fleecy needs to be washed at a minimum of 60 degrees and the cage including all grids need to be cleaned with an anti-fungal cleaner like F10. You also need to be careful between handling, making sure you change your clothes etc. You can also get F10 handgel and handwash.

Is she an only pig?

What spray is the vet giving you?

Yeah shes an only pig now and aw ok :(
I'm not sure of the spray yet since we havent got it
thanks for your advice :)

Its probly going to be Mycozole spray, thats what my vet gave me for my girl Haven. I used it for about 4 weeks (Havens was quite a bad looking spot) and her ringworm is now gone totally (she dose however have mites now- so is on injection course for that).

As Helen sugests, F10 spray is wonderful stuff, Its going to mean a fair bit of work for the next few weeks...daily bedding and full cage clean daily, all bowls and waterbottles cleaned. Fleece bedding washed daily at 60degrees or more and also wash hands well after handling (and also clothes changes for yourself if your clothes have contact with the piggie. It may sound like hard work, but after a day or two you get used to it.
Throw away any wooden or cardboard things.... Just use fleece or plastic toys.
