My springer spaniel Cassie had to be put down last Wednesday :'( She was 13 so a good age but it still hurts as I've had her since I was 7. She had one of her back legs amputated last year as she had a tumor on it and we found out last Tuesday that she had tumors in her lungs and it wasn't fair to let her suffer.

She was always such a happy dog and loved to swim and chase rabbits, though she was never fast enough to catch them! She loved people and would run up to anyone in the street and demand they stroke her, if it was someone she knew she'd usually sit on their feet so they couldn't get away!

I'm just glad I've got my two guinea pigs to cuddle as they've helped me a lot the past few days just by sitting there and letting me cry.

Awwwh Spaniels are lovely dogs! :smitten:
My auntie had 2, they where so friendly! And live upto such great ages!

Awwwwh R.I.P little one!
