Froggerella
Junior Guinea Pig
One of my first pigs, and a rescue pig, Cube, passed away this morning.
This was following a short illness - he'd originally been in for an abscess, and then developed anorexia as a result of the antibiotics. However, he'd been seeming so much more himself again lately - he was eating fine, and acting much brighter than he had been. This just came out of the blue.
Cube was always one of the cuddlier pigs I've had - a proper 'neck pig', he'd snuggle in underneath my chin and fall asleep there. He was always very laid back, although was the only pig to be able to find a way past my wall of cushions when he was out in the living room - there were a number of times I had to move the sofa to try and get him out from behind it!
He's now buried alongside his best friend and old cagemate, Rubix, who I adopted him with. I know he'd missed Rubix a lot since Bix died at the beginning of December, so I hope they're together somewhere now.
RIP Cube - you cuddly, affectionate little ball of fluff. I'm sorry I couldn't do more x
