today i went over to my neighbours to feed their cat Blinx.
On my way back outside their house i found the tinest little ring tailed possum, only 5" long and barely breathing, i rang and asked Dee to bring over a towel, we then carefully picked him up and took him home. Probably nearly 20 calls later i found out a lady right near us, we rushed around to her house, as we were getting out of the car he took a deep breath and his little head went back..... we took him inside the lady Nancy blew into his mouth and then said "i'm sorry" :'( :'( :'( i sobbed, the poor little fella what a lousy start to his life. i am sure it was the neighbour's cat as they could tell he'd been bitten by a cat
RIP little fella, run free at the bridge, i hope you meet some nice possums there :'( :'( :'( :'(
