Thank you! They absolutely do, piggies do love to worry usAh I’m glad dear Bruno is ok
These odd symptoms make us paranoid don’t they @Rivervixen
As you say peace of mind is worth it !
That’s just way I use a tunnel Raven ….good girlRaven using a tunnel correctly![]()
I will say that its been a privilege to watch Wren grow, she arrived to us at 797 and shes at 865 now with the number climbing every weekshe's already visibly grown in size but don't think shes anywhere near done yet. Her nickname is Rita (from the alton towers ride Rita, Queen of speed) I've never seen any pig go as fast as she does, not even my boys in their younger days!
Raven does zoomies when she hears me coming up to feed them, then continues going around while I'm sorting the foodAh that’s lovely - she’s a sweet girl
I’m always amazed at how guinea pigs grow and even more so at how fast they can run![]()
I did say on the zoom meet last night, but I was waiting until we were sure to post it. The piggies have gone back togetherit was a nerve wracking decision to try again, but with how Bruno reacted it was worth another go. They've settled down immensely and we've had a happy herd this past 3 weeks ish
had both Raven and Wren come into season which was amusing to watch
I think we're over the bumpy patch
It really is, thank youFantastic news![]()
Thank you! We're chuffed, they all get to enjoy the newly extended 2x8 as wellThat’s such lovely news for all the piggies and you both
Was lovely to see you on the zoom meet![]()
It is, Bruno back to being a happy bouncy boy is the absolute bestSo lovely to see them all together.
It was such good news last night![]()
Raven has come around a lot more than we expected, I think she was absolutely terrified when we tried to bond them before, now shes so comfy and confidentWonderful news! It is great that Raven has settled in and relaxed enough to be OK with Bruno. Some piggies, especially ones with a back story just need quite a bit more time than you'd expect.
She appreciates you saying so! We've completely fallen in love with them both, thank youRaven is a lovely piggyYou have a super little herd

Awww thank you! I do love posting about them, they're too precious not to post! It’s lovely to read your posts about your lovely little trio![]()
Awww thank you, I do think they're perfectly matched as wellTry having Wren with Bruno on your lap for any cuddles or grooming. She will pick her cues from him. Also give her and Raven lots of piggy whispering encouragement and vocal praise.

Lovely Lexi was the most terrified piggy I have ever seen. I'm talking a bucking bronco piggy, whites of the eyes and terrified squealing, she didn't even have the "if I stay completely still, they're going to lose interest in me" instinct. She had clearly been traumatized in some way in the past. She would run away scared at everything. She was so fast! She was just a blur of white fur. Her previous owners were lovely and clearly adored her so I don't really know what made her so scared. It took me a year of carefully taking it at her pace to completely trust me. She was even scared of grass when I first introduced it and ran away from it. She had the mentality of "if I don't know what it is it'll eat me". I fed her and her best met The One and Only Thea veggie dindins for 6 months while sitting on the cold, hard floor of the garage which took half an hour every night. It was worth it though when Lexi finally trusted me enough to let me pick her up and give her a cuddle. It just takes a lot of patience and love to turn a terrified pet into a loving pet. Here she is because she was a lovely piggyRaven has come around a lot more than we expected, I think she was absolutely terrified when we tried to bond them before, now shes so comfy and confidentshe can already tell that opening the door means we're coming to see them, she squeals and does zoomies when she hears "piggies!". yesterday she cuddled my legs and completely melted into relaxed mode, very happy that she's loving life with us now
little Wren is slowly but surely gaining the same confidence, I think it will take her a little longer, but she's slowly starting to trust us fully as well

Lovely Lexi was absolutely gorgeous! Thats so lovely that you gained her trust, I think it will be a slow process with Wren as well but its so worth it in the end when they're comfy and happyLovely Lexi was the most terrified piggy I have ever seen.
