I'm not really sure what's going on with Roger, hoping somebody will have some insight. He has a history of spraining his back right leg. After xrays it was determined that all he needed was rest. He recoveredd well from that. A few months ago, his leg started to act up again; he wouldn't put any weight on it. After a few days he was back to his old self again. Last night, his right back leg (the one he hurt initially) was limping, and I didn't see anything that would have caused it. Tonight, it's like he decided to switch what leg is bothering him, now it's the other leg he's favoring. Also, he seems to be drinking a lot of water today, not sure if that's related or just a coincidence. Gave him a vitamin C tablet tonight, and then put him in the hospital cage to get some rest, but I wish I knew what is going on. Any ideas?

I have no advice but I just wanted to say I am sorry he is poorly.

How is Rodger today?

Poor little fella, please tell him Maisie sends kisses and says she knows just how he feels. x>> x>>

I think if it was me, I'd let the vet check him over just to put your mind at ease and be sure it's nothing thats being missed. That is what I did with Maisie, as you may or may not know, she had surgery for a badly broken thigh bone back in March, and we have noticed that as the weather is changing towards Autum/Winter she has been having some trouble with her leg, I'd noticed her carring it once or twice and I'd seen her sort of stretch it out behind her as though it were stiff, my Hubby said it was probably just the change in the weather and that his old breaks always nip a bit when the weather changes (and he's a man who should know rolleyes), but we took her off to the vets just to be sure, and the of course the vet confirmed exactly what Hubby had said, and even said that rheumatism was only to be expected in that leg, and even arthritis later in her life, and that at that stage the vet would even think about a little pain relief at certain times of the year, but we could cross that bridge when we came to it.

Anyway,

Best of luck to Rodger, we'll be sending healing vibes and piggy kisses and hope he feels better soon.
