Can they eat roses?

ive just made up a nice herby mix for my lot inc fresh picked marigolds, milmus some fresh mint leaves mixed it with some just grass n they love it! just wondering if they can have roses too? my neighbour has a huge rose bush but doesnt care about her garden so ive been taking a few for the torts..n thought about the guineas..
 
I seem to think they can eat the petals you may wanna ask Pampered piggies that as well ;)
