Just wondering can guinea pigs develop new rosettes. One of my boys seems to be developing several new rosettes I have noticed over the last week
 
My Mabel used to only have 1 on her bum but as she has got older more have appeared. There is the possibility of a skin issue though so if you could post a photo that would help. Do any of the hairs appear broken half way down the shaft?
 
I will try to post a picture later he has just had a bath and mite treatment so I will leave him to chill for a while, one patch his hair is broken, but 2 other patches his hair just seems to be growing into rosettes
 
Bang goes that theory then..... i wondered if he was very young and perhaps he was still growing into himself if you know what i mean. I'm sorry but i've not come across that before.
