I picked up a round lettuce today, Now I know iceburg is no good. Is round ok?

Yup, mine have it very occasionally but prefer Romaine or the mixed salad bags :))
They like the Webbs lettuce too which is very similar to round but have 'crinkly' edges :(|)

Yes it is; as long as you don't feed it daily. It is not extremely nutritious.

Great thanks :) iv been looking at the mixed bags but wasnt sure all the items were suitable.

I want to start feeding Lily and gang a more varied diet, Thought it was best not to add unfamiliar things while she was pregnant and feeding but now they are all weaned I want to spoil them rotten! They mostly eat carrots, broccoli, cucumber, peppers, apples, timothy and meadow hay, (plus alfalfa while preg and feeding) and excel nuggets

I will grab a couple of them leafy bags when I'm up tesco next, they loved the lettuce

Bertie loves the mixed bags, not surprised some of it is really bitter bit like I imagine dandelion to be. He has round lettuce sometimes, I know the vet told me if you have an old pig which isnt drinking much to give them lettuce sprayed with water as they like lettuce so will get fluid as well.
