Alicia
Adult Guinea Pig
I tried introducing them in the run for the first time today. I thought I'd put them in the run and gradually build up the time I keep them together for, so today they were together for about 20 minutes. They clicked their teeth at each other quite a lot to begin with but after a few minutes they stopped, and I put a pile of grass in and they started eating together
They even sat quite close to each other without clicking their teeth or anything! I really hope this works because Barry is so lonely, he just sits around in his hutch and run because he gets so bored.
Here are the photos (please excuse the lack of grass in the run - my guinea-pigs are massive lawnmowers, they're run is getting moved to more grass tommorow)
Then they sat right next to each other, happily eating away and not arguing or anything! They will be staying seperate tonight, and tommorow I'm going to bath them and clean out and disenfect Barry's hutch and then they'll hopefully move in together then, if all goes well.
