Ginny makes a rubbish prey animal. She just never shuts up! She feels the need to tell everyone exactly what she is doing at any one time.
I do love that little bubbly exploring noise they make whilst trotting about, but ALL the time? Really? Is there any need? She also makes this noise when she is settling down for a sleep, and if she has to reposition herself to get a bit more comfy.
Any predetor would know exactly where she is in a second. We call her chatty pig.
Luna is much more sensible and stays quiet unless there is food around, or a clean cage to explore.
Anyone else got a really vocal piggy?

Yep all of mine are pretty vocal to be fair, particularly Tonks who ironically is blind in one eye and probably the weakest of all the piggies. She also calls my cat over to the cage which worries the daylight out of me, I don't know why she does it. She's a bit of a nutter that one, always asking for trouble some how! :)) Well, trouble and VEG! Her scream is the loudest in the group, it's so shrill you've probably heard it from your house at some point XD

Iggy is also ALWAYS chatting away, he never shuts up. Because he was always in pain when I first got him I often wonder if they're whimpers, but I've been reassured that boys are just quite chatty!

I love the noise you mean when they walk. I call it chuckle walking, it's a lovely noise. If I covered my cage up in winter overnight I used to stand in the dark listening to them doing it, very cute. I think they are saying 'all is ok' in piggy talk.

Both of the boys have their moments. Blitzen's not so bad because he's a very fast and catching him would be the problem...but he still likes to yell while he's doing it. Comet just loves to chat, but I swear he can't let Blitzen have the last word and absolutely must be louder than B at all times...unless he's winding B up, on which case he's happy to let him yell the place down. I'm forever paranoid a neighbour is going to think they're being mistreated or neglected when in reality they just love talking and yelling, lol

Sundae has two volumes, loud and deafening. That's it, those are my options. Mercifully for me he only really hits the full car alarm level scream when dinner is late, but he has vision and abandonment issues (rescue) so you do have to keep an ear on him for an impending panic attack too. Those...are loud, very, very loud.
