I can't believe you've gone, I miss you so much and will always love you. You filled the hole in my heart after we lost Lemony so young. We had you in our lives for more than 6 years and I am very grateful for that. You loved your cuddles and were so good natured, the perfect piggie. The last 3 weeks were so hard but I'm glad you're now at rest. You'll always be in our hearts.

So sorry for your loss.
Such a gorgeous piggy.
Ruggles will leave a big hole in your heart.
Be gentle with yourself as you grieve

I am very sorry you have had to say goodbye to your much loved piggy. Loss is very hard to bear but it is because we loved them but when the grief subsides you will have happy memories to cherish. Ruggles will have known the depth of your love and take that to the rainbow bridge.

I lost my boy Shrimp on Wednesday, an RSPCA rescue I had on the day lockdown was announced March 23 2020. My heart is broken but I'm having to adopt a new one because my widowed girl is not coping alone. I loved him so much.

I understand your hurt x

Thank you everyone for your kind words and understanding.

I am sorry for your loss too @Piggylove82 Ruggles lived with Monty (Montezuma - a rescue we got just before lockdown), I don't know if he thinks she just out of the cage for a long time, he's a bit confused by the change around but managing ok...we've moved the two girls from the upstairs cage, in with him, so he's not alone. They already know each other as we put them in a pen together during changing.
